Kolby Krystofik
OWNER/GENERAL MANAGER
Hi I’m Kolby, and I am super passionate about health and fitness and would love to share my love for the outdoors with you. I am a teacher at heart and my goal will always be to add value to your life. I grew up around sports my entire life, but it wasn’t until my college years that I discovered my passion to share fitness with others and learned a lot about how I can best do that.
The past 11 years I have been building my passions and finding useful and relevant information to pass on to others. I graduated from Pepperdine University with a degree in Sports Medicine and have studied under Michael Anderson of CrossFit Malibu. I now own Oxnard MVMNT and operate as the General Manager. I have also fallen in love with the ocean and surfing after playing water polo for Pepperdine. In addition to being a coach, I am also an Ocean Lifeguard for The County of Los Angeles in Malibu. Spending most of my summers at the beaches keeping an eye out for beach patrons and learning more about the awesome power of the ocean.
If you want to see more play in your life, follow me on the road to better health!

Brenda
HEAD CROSSFIT COACH
I am Brenda or you can call me Beeks. Oxnard|MVMNT has changed my life; first as an athlete, then coach. Now it’s my turn to share this life-changing method of fitness with you!
While my main goal is to just simply make a difference in someone’s life, whether it be a smile or a laugh, I realized that I wanted to narrow it down and make a difference through fitness. I want to make sure people are moving well for their entire life; making an entire lifestyle change because they WANT to not because they HAVE to. I want to be able to keep athletes moving well for as long as possible but MOST IMPORTANTLY I want people to LOVE the body they are in.
Since I have started CrossFit, I have gone through almost all scaling options because nothing ever came easy for me. I’ve gained 20+lbs of muscle but more than that, I’ve added 150+ more friends to my life which means 150+ more family members to my life!
With the guidance of the MVMNT staff, I went from athlete, to cleaning bathrooms, to intern, to full time coach. Today, I am Head Coach of Oxnard MVMNT.

MOBILITY COACH
Hello, my name is Eric and I’m one of the coaches at Oxnard|MVMNT. My wife, Amanda, and I started CrossFit back in 2012 when our kids had left for college and we were looking for an activity that we could do together. We immediately realized how much different this was compared to the many years of weightlifting/bodybuilding we had done. We were very surprised how intense such a short workout could be and our first group WOD was Fight Gone Bad!
Getting to the gym is almost always the best part of the day for me whether I’m working out or coaching. As a Masters athlete, my approach is sometimes different but the goals are the same: do what you can do on that day to the best of your ability.
My other job is in the semiconductor/solar industry and I like to tell people that I work with really clean rocks! Ask me sometime about the drop of water in the Olympic swimming pool.
You will almost always find us at the 3:30 classes, which end with a cooldown and stretch period I lead right afterwards. If you’ve never done that, try to get to a 3:30 class and see what you’re missing. Of course, you can always sign up for Mobility Saturdays to get the full experience.

CROSSFIT COACH & NUTRITION COACH
My name is Jeff and I’m one of coaches at Oxnard|MVMNT. I first started CrossFit back in 2011 with my wife (then fiancé) to get into shape before our wedding. After the first class I fell in love with the methodology and lifestyle that comes with being a functional fitness athlete.
In the beginning it was all about crushing the workouts and lifting heavy weights. Now that I’m older, married and a father of two, I am finding that there is much more to being fit than how fast I go or how heavy I can lift. My focus now is to be able to take all of the groceries from the car to the house in one trip, beat my kids in a race until they are 18, and be able to pick up my grandchildren and throw them in the air.
My full time job is in the healthcare industry and I spend a lot of my time in hospitals and medical clinics. Many people become unhealthy and develop chronic illnesses from a lack of exercise and not eating properly. Don’t let this be you! Come see me in an early morning class and we can talk about how I can help you achieve your short and long term fitness goals.

CROSSFIT COACH
To me fitness is about setting attainable goals, creating a healthy lifestyle, and establishing physical habits that can transfer to other aspects of your daily life. I aspire to create a familial environment with longevity at the forefront of each class.
I was first exposed to CrossFit in 2015, and spent 6 years as an athlete in my local box. In 2019, I moved to Ventura, California and became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and General Manager of CrossFit Anacapa.
In 2020 I moved back to Pennsylvania I opened up my own CrossFit gym! NOBO CrossFit. During that time I continued to pursue my CrossFit trainer education and obtained my CrossFit Level 3 Certified Trainer credential.
I continue daily pursuing the never ending chase of being a world class coach which has now placed me here in Ventura, California as a coach at CrossFit Ventura.
At the end of the day, I hope to help build a better world, a global community rooted in support for CrossFit.

CROSSFIT COACH
Over the past couple of years, I have discovered my passion for CrossFit—I love learning about it, doing it, and teaching it! CrossFit has given me an insane confidence in my body’s abilities to do hard things, and I want others to be able to feel the same way about their own bodies. The most important thing I want to encourage athletes in is showing them that taking care of their health can be FUN.
In high school, I was a competitive track and field athlete. In 2018, I was invited to compete on the provincial team for pole vault in the Canadian Legion Nationals. In my second year at Ventura College (Fall 2021), I joined the swim team. Around the same time, I also found Oxnard|MVMNT. From here, this stirred my passion as a coach as well. I went through the Coaches Development Program here at the gym, completed my L-1 certification and began coaching at OxnardMVMNT in 2023. That year I also completed my Associates Degree in Kinesiology.

I coach because I believe staying active can lead to a longer and healthier life. I think it is such a simple thing to do, but easy to ignore. CrossFit has changed my life in so many ways and I am reminded of it in every challenge I face. I want to share this idea of fitness and preparing oneself for the obstacles of life.
